Summary: Students experiencing medical issues can request a course extension beyond the standard 12-month completion timeframe by providing a valid medical certificate.
We understand that unexpected medical issues can sometimes interrupt your studies. If you are experiencing health-related challenges that prevent you from completing your course within the standard timeframe, SRPT Education offers options to support you.
Standard Course Duration
All SRPT Education students have 12 months from their enrolment date to complete their course.
Complimentary 3-Month Extension
If you reach the end of your 12-month period and need extra time, you can request a complimentary 3-month extension by contacting Student Support.
Medical Extensions
If you are unable to continue your studies due to medical reasons, you may apply for an additional extension beyond the complimentary 3 months.
To apply:
- Contact Student Support via email at support@srpteducation.com.au, or by submitting a request through the Zendesk Chat.
- Provide a medical certificate or supporting documentation outlining your situation.
Once your request and medical certificate have been reviewed, Student Support will confirm your new course expiry date.
💡 Important:
- There is no charge for extensions granted due to medical reasons.
- These extensions do not affect your course payments — they simply preserve your study time to ensure you can complete your course.
